What does Etixio do?
We design, build and maintain software and AI solutions: business applications, SaaS products, AI agents and AI features built into your products, and taking AI proofs of concept all the way to production. Our engineering teams are how we deliver: you entrust us with an outcome, not a stack of résumés.
Who do we work with?
Companies with software to build, evolve or maintain: software vendors, SMBs, mid-sized companies, startups, CIOs and business departments. Most of our clients are French-speaking; for English-language projects, we have teams that work in English every day.
Which engagement models do you offer, and how do I choose?
We work in three ways:
- Fixed-price project: a defined scope, an agreed budget and schedule, and deliverables validated step by step. Best when the need is clear and stable.
- Dedicated team: a team that builds and evolves your product over time, with capacity that follows your roadmap. Best for a product that keeps growing.
- Team extension: a few engineers who join your existing team on a specific topic, supervised by our tech lead.
If you are unsure, a short scoping phase helps pick the right model for your need, budget and organization.
What does the tech lead do?
Every project has an Etixio tech lead. They own the architecture and technical choices, run code reviews, organize the team’s daily work and remain your technical point of contact. They also ensure continuity: up-to-date documentation, knowledge transfer and onboarding of new engineers.
Who manages the project?
We manage it together with you. You set the priorities and make the trade-offs; our tech lead is accountable for the quality of what is delivered. The follow-up rhythm (regular check-ins, demos, backlog reviews) is agreed at the start to fit your organization.
Who owns the code, the access and the tools?
You do. Your code, your repositories, your access, your accounts, your tools, your data and your documentation: everything stays yours. Our teams work inside your environment (your Git repositories, your ticketing tool, your environments), under your security rules, and you can take back control at any time.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?
Yes, if you wish, before we go into the details of your project. Confidentiality then applies to the whole team: named accounts, access limited to what each person needs, and removed when the engagement ends.
How do you protect our data, including under the GDPR?
Role-based access, named accounts, secrets management, separate environments and, wherever possible, development on test or anonymized data. When personal data is involved, its processing is governed by contract in line with the GDPR. Our engineering standard completes this framework: systematic code review, automated testing, continuous integration and living documentation.
Where are your teams, and what is the time difference?
Our main teams are in Madagascar and Mauritius, managed from France. Madagascar is on UTC+3 and Mauritius on UTC+4, all year round, so our working days overlap well with European business hours. For English-language projects, a team in Vietnam supports our Mauritius engineers.
What language do you work in?
French and English. Our teams in Madagascar and Mauritius are French-speaking, and we also work in English, particularly from Mauritius, where both languages are in everyday use.
How quickly can we start?
Building a dedicated team usually takes four to eight weeks: needs analysis, engineer selection, validation with you and onboarding. The exact timeline depends on the team profile and context. For a fixed-price project, work starts once scoping is approved.
Can you take over our AI proof of concept or build an AI agent?
Yes. We take AI proofs of concept to production: architecture, security, integration with your tools and monitoring. We also build AI agents and AI features into your products. Every AI project relies on an evaluation dataset built with you to measure answer quality, and on tracking model usage costs, so quality and budget stay under control over time.
How much do your services cost?
The budget depends on the engagement model, the team composition and the scope. Our pricing page explains our pricing models, and our detailed price catalog is available on request.
