Personal data and privacy

What we do with the information you send us, and how to exercise your rights.

Who processes your data?

The data controller is ETIXIO (SAS), 71, rue Henri Barbusse, 92190 Meudon, France — contact@etixio.com.

What data do we collect?

When you use the contact form or the document request form (price catalog, guides): your first name, last name and email address, and, if you provide them, your phone number, company, need, message and attached document. The page you write from and the site language are also sent.

Why?

Only to answer your request (including sending you the requested document) and, where relevant, discuss your project with you. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form. Your data is neither sold nor used for automated marketing.

Who has access to it?

The Etixio team in charge of your request. To send the message, we use technical providers acting on our behalf: Netlify (hosting of the website and the form) and Brevo (delivery of the email to contact@etixio.com). Online appointment booking is provided by Calendly, under its own terms. The website’s AI assistant relies on OpenRouter (see below).

Website AI assistant

The assistant (the “Any questions?” bubble) answers questions about Etixio and can help you prepare a call or a contact request. Its answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes: for a committed opinion, a member of our team takes over.

Data processed. The messages you type and any information you choose to include (for example your name, email address or company), as well as the page you are viewing and the website language. Please do not share sensitive information (passwords, health data, banking details…).

Provider. To generate answers, your messages are sent to OpenRouter, Inc. (United States), which routes them to the provider of the language model used, acting on our behalf under its own terms. This processing involves a transfer of data outside the European Union.

Retention. We do not store your conversations on our servers: they stay in your browser and disappear when you close the tab. To prevent abuse, we use your IP address only in an encrypted, non-reversible form, to count the number of questions asked. If you send a request from the assistant, it is handled like a contact form request. The booking link opens Calendly, pre-filled with the information you provided.

Legal basis. Our legitimate interest in answering questions from visitors who use the assistant. You can choose not to use it at any time and write to us directly at contact@etixio.com.

How long?

Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then for a maximum of 3 years after our last exchange, unless a contractual relationship is established.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@etixio.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies and analytics

The website does not set any advertising cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own servers.

Audience measurement. If you accept it through the banner shown on your first visit, we use two tools, loaded by Google Tag Manager:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), to measure traffic on the website: page views, traffic sources, contact form submissions. Cookies are kept for up to 13 months, statistics for 14 months.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited), to understand how pages are browsed: clicks, scrolling, anonymized session recordings. Form fields are masked. Cookies are kept for up to 13 months.

Data may be transferred to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. Until you accept, none of these tools is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.

Your choice is stored in your browser for 6 months, after which you will be asked again. You can change it at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
