Fast delivery
Conventions, Artisan generators and ready-to-use components (authentication, job queues, notifications) speed up the first releases.
Expertise · Laravel
Etixio delivers Laravel development for your business applications, portals and PHP APIs, with business rules clearly separated from interfaces. We build new products, modernize existing applications and add AI features to them, all the way to production.
Understanding the technology
Laravel is a PHP framework that provides components for web applications: data access, routing, validation and deferred processing, among others. We use it to build business software with an organization that makes rules and integrations understandable for the team.

The strengths for your product
Laravel is often chosen when a web application or API needs to be delivered quickly without giving up a structured foundation. Its conventions, documentation and ecosystem reduce the time spent on plumbing so it can go into product features.
Conventions, Artisan generators and ready-to-use components (authentication, job queues, notifications) speed up the first releases.
Eloquent, the Query Builder and versioned migrations make the data model explicit and its evolution traceable.
Sanctum for APIs, Horizon for job queues, Forge or Vapor for deployment, and a wide choice of maintained packages.
The reference documentation and the community make it easier to onboard new developers and for another team to take over an application.
Our scope of work
Structure services, forms and authorizations.
Organize background tasks, notifications and integrations.
Design the model, migrations and queries with expected volumes in mind.
Our Laravel expertise
Recent Laravel versions with PHP 8, Artisan for migrations, test data and scheduled tasks, Blade and its components for interfaces.
Eloquent (relationships, eager loading, scopes), Query Builder for complex queries, migrations and seeders on MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
Sanctum for APIs and mobile applications, Breeze and Jetstream for authentication and two-factor authentication, encryption and password hashing.
API Resources for consistent responses, events and broadcasting via WebSockets and Redis, job queues and workers for asynchronous processing.
We also take over older PHP applications and migrate them to Laravel in stages, keeping the service running. See our custom PHP development expertise.
Laravel and AI
An assistant built into screens, search across a document base, classifying requests or extracting information from attachments: model calls are integrated as Laravel services, run in job queues when needed so they do not slow down screens. Access rights, logs and evaluations follow the same rules as the rest of the code.
We also take over AI prototypes to make them production-ready. See our enterprise AI solutions and our AI agents and chatbots.

In the field
On a request portal, we define the steps of each case, the authorizations and the notifications. Time-consuming processing can run separately, with tracking of errors and retries. Tests verify that a notification or a retried operation does not change the same business state twice.
The choices that matter
The framework’s conventions make it easy to get started, but the product’s rules must not turn into a succession of controllers that are hard to test. We examine the data model, queries, job queues and dependencies before adding features or preparing a version upgrade.
From work to deliverables
The scope of the engagement specifies the components to build or take over and the acceptance criteria. We prepare what is needed to understand the changes, verify them and continue the work.
Frequently asked questions
Laravel is a PHP framework that provides the essentials of a web application (routing, data access, validation, authentication, job queues). It is valued for the delivery speed it enables, its documentation and its ecosystem.
Yes. It suits business applications, APIs and SaaS platforms, provided business rules are kept in tested services rather than scattered across controllers. Its job queues and caching make it possible to handle load as usage grows.
Laravel favors delivery speed through its conventions. Symfony offers more explicit control, which is useful for very complex applications or those maintained over a very long time. Both are good choices; the decision depends on the product, the team and the expected lifespan.
Eloquent represents tables and their relationships as PHP objects, with eager or lazy loading, reusable scopes and automatic timestamps. It reduces hand-written SQL; we still monitor the generated queries to avoid performance issues.
Laravel includes CSRF protection, input validation, password hashing, encryption and rate limiting. On top of that, you need fine-grained authorization management (policies), HTTPS, up-to-date dependencies and a reviewed production configuration.
Unit tests with PHPUnit or Pest for business rules, feature tests for complete flows, Dusk for browser tests, and database transactions to isolate each test. They run automatically on every change.
OPcache, route, configuration and view caching, eager loading of relationships, query optimization and offloading long-running tasks to job queues. Telescope or Blackfire help pinpoint the real bottlenecks.
Yes. Model calls (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), document search and agents are added as application services, often run in the background. We also handle taking an existing AI prototype to production: security, monitoring, evaluations and cost tracking.
It depends on the scope: a targeted API takes a few weeks, a complete platform several months. Project scoping sets a realistic first scope and schedule.
A fixed-price project for a defined scope, a dedicated team of French-speaking engineers in Madagascar and Mauritius, led by a tech lead, to evolve the application over time, or a targeted engagement (performance, API design, migration to Laravel).
